Being able to recognize when we have caused harm and work to make repair is essential to community accountability. We often focus our curiosity about accountability on how others can take accountability for harm they caused us, while failing to be thoughtful about the ways we have caused harm. In 2022, the NSN hosted Mia Mingus for a powerful workshop based on this blog post, which is essential learning for all of us in this sector.
